Il Cinema

Rocca delle Macìe's history has an indissoluble bond to cinema. In fact it was thanks to the movie production activity that Italo could make his dream come true and establish a winery in the heart of Chianti Classico.
Today the West Film production company founded by Italo in 1964 and the Delta distribution company (1966)  have been taken over within Rocca delle Macìe and are themselves the Cinema branch of the company managed by Sandra Zingarelli together with her daughter Sara Cerri.  
Italo, during the whole of his carrier as a producer, has distributed over 80 films which are still running in many countries all over the world.  The Rocca delle Macìe Cinema has a rich and important Library and has become over the years an international benchmark within Italian  cinema.
