Grape Varietals Sangiovese 90% Cabernet 5% Merlot 5% Vinification The grapes are carefully selected at the Campomaccione estate owned by Rocca delle Macie and then vinified with the latest controlled fermentation techniques to keep the temperature constant throughout the vinification. Wine is bottled in the spring time after the harvest. As the grapes are ripened fully, this wine remains especially soft while keeping its distinctly fruity flavor for a long period of time. Wine Description Color: brilliant ruby red. Nose: intense, with a distinct hint of ripe red fruit. Palate: fresh and smooth, full bodied with a long lasting finish. Winemaker's Recommendations A wine for all courses, it is particularly suited to pair with savoury courses, white meats and spicy fish soups.
