The Restaurant is located in one of the buildings in the hamlet of Fizzano and is open both to those staying at the complex and non-residents. Some of the dishes are prepared in full accordance with authentic, traditional Tuscan recipes, whereas others reinterpret traditional dishes in a modern style – made using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. Extra-virgin olive oil, vegetables from the garden and wines from Rocca delle Macìe complement and enrich the culinary experience on offer at the restaurant.
All guests have the possibility to follow cooking classes held by our highly-trained staff, during which they will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of traditional Tuscan recipes.

Flavors of territory

Our chef serves up dishes based on authentic, traditional Tuscan recipes, always adding a touch of elegance and character to the mix. Underpinning everything are the ingredients: the vegetables are sourced mainly from the vegetable gardens at the “Le Macie” and “Sant’Alfonso” estates, so as to make the Tuscan content all the more intense and recognizable; the meats come from local businesses personally selected by our chef, working with the in-house team in order to make the most of their freshness and quality.
The restaurant is an ideal place to re-charge your proverbial batteries, immersing yourself in the Zingarelli family’s vineyards as you sample wines from the extensive Rocca delle Macìe selection.

Recipes of Tradition

A journey allowing you to get up-close and personal with the Tuscan tradition. During the lessons, our chef will show you how to prepare the dishes of the local tradition, and will reveal some secrets of the most famous recipes, from Pici all’Aglione (pici pasta with garlic sauce), via Pappa al Pomodoro (bread soup with tomatoes), all the way to Cantuccini (almond biscuits). Naturally, all of the dishes will be combined with Rocca delle Macìe wines, and can then be easily replicated at home. We generally welcome groups with a minimum of 8 people.



Theme dinners, private lunches and dinners, weddings

The Relais can be used to host private events, such as anniversaries and weddings, or for business dinners or meetings – whatever the event, exclusivity and discretion are the watchwords. Several months’ notice is ideally required.
